Slowing down of laptop is a common problem for all. After you buy a brand new laptop and run it for a few months you start noticing that it is not running as fast as it used to run. The first thing that comes to our mind is that our laptop needs to be upgraded or we think of reinstalling the operating systems. Let me clarify that neither of these is required to speed up your laptop.

Speeding up your laptop is as easy as anything. There are ways that can prevent your laptop from slowing down. The steps are easy enough and you don’t need to call a technician for that. You can do them all by yourself.

The first step that you should follow is defragmenting your system. The hard drive of a laptop contains many programs. Most of the times they are randomly spread making it hard for you to find out a particular program. When you defrag the system your laptop will arrange the programs and put similar programs together. This will save your time and energy. At the same time defragmenting the hard drive can really speed up your laptop.

When you start your laptop you will notice that there are various programs that start automatically. Once started these programs keep on running in the background and this consumes your laptop memory slowing it down. So the second step is to eliminate these start up programs. You will notice significant speed up of your laptop once you remove these unnecessary programs.

The third and the final step to follow is to fix the registry errors. Your registry keeps a record whenever you download/remove any file as well as install/remove any program and hardware. At times it becomes redundant or becomes broken. But registry cleaning can save you from this problem as well as speed up your laptop.

Follow these simple steps and see the difference yourself.
