A degree in information technology opens doors to a variety of careers, such as computer forensics, systems security or network engineering. Additionally, government agencies around the world often hire IT experts.

The statistics for new IT graduates are promising. In particular, careers in cybersecurity are especially abundant. Every country will need more cybersecurity experts in the future due to growing threat of hackers and cyberterrorists. Major corporations also need cybersecurity professionals who can create impenetrable defense systems. People who are experts in cloud computing will also see more jobs in the near future.
Besides cybersecurity experts, corporations and governments will be seeking information systems managers (IT managers), network administrators and software developers for mobile devices. In particular, many applications developers have become very successful by creating and marketing popular games and apps.
